Dear Authors

We hoped to have brought out a quarterly newsletter for our authors and Colleen our book representative, but due to our extensive renovations at Clovelly, and the extra work incurred by our growing distribution list, we only managed to keep our monthly general newsletter going. Our apologies for this.

I will now try to give you all an update on what has happened to Kima Global this year so far.

Goodbye Magdel

We never expected to hear that our author Magdel Shackleton would no longer be with us in the physical as from the 18th of May. Once again we both learned how important it is to appreciate each day for what it offers; almost as if each day is our last day in the physical...
But...I can only speak for ourselves when I write that it is not in our nature to do so. We always think ahead, plan ahead while at the same time we experience the manifestations we have created by having done so - in the past - in every present moment.


International Book Fair in Cape Town

Last year we were trade visitors, this year we had our own booth.

 

 

 

 

 




 The Cape Town Book Fair was a great event. Our booth was small, but very popular. The Fair was apparently visited by more than 49 000 people and attracted International Trade Visitors. It definitely placed us firmly on the international literary map as a Body, Mind & Spirit publisher from South Africa...

What we hope to avoid from now on

It is sad to have to acknowledge that we have taken on authors who do NOT actually have the discernment and honesty that they claimed to have, and of course we only find this out AFTER we have gone into a partnership with them.

Our A6 pocket size books sold well at the fair and the turnover in bookshops is garanteed, especially when they use our bookstand.

  • Heaven's Gift - stays a steady seller, also from our online book shop.
  • I Died Young - is often ordered together with Heavens Gift.
Welcome to a new author
Congratulations Graham, we welcome you in our Kima Global authors stable. We probably met some of your students at the show. When we told them that you would be in SA in August, they asked to visit our website to read about your time and dates, so they could attend your lecture.
