The
Frankfurt Bookfair
We
are already in October and November is around the
corner. On Friday we leave for Frankfurt, to exhibit
our titles at the biggest book fair in the world.
This year we proudly present seven new titles.
The following questions were taken from these 7 books
that are now been packed for posting to all the main
book chains in SA and to quite a few independent bookstores.

Coaching
is being applied in education and in particular in
teacher re-orientation towards engaging in heuristic
learning or self-directed learning. Life coaching
in our schools:
Until
recently, it was the teacher that was the principal
resource base for learning for students. The problem
with this was that if the teacher showed little or
no interest, the students suffered. Now, with modern
technology and the internet, it is possible for each
person to have access to their own learning materials
through their own research. Coupled with group learning,
the teacher needs to move into another role: from
being a ‘conveyor of information’ to being
able to ‘facilitate learning’. For such
a shift to happen, teachers have the need to themselves
become empowered into this new role.

of Body Travel.
I named the field of out-of-body travel “Interspace”
because it was sometimes like exiting and re-entering
through a crack that shifted and opened very slightly
in the surface of our normally perceived reality.
I experienced it as a space between a space. I understood
from the beginning that Interspace was another place
altogether. Interspace was as different from the world
of nocturnal dreams as it was from everyday material
reality. The natural laws of Interspace were sometimes
very different from our familiar waking world. This
was particularly true of gravity and time. In Interspace
things could happen very quickly.
I experienced this alternative reality as a place
of learning and the equivalent of spiritual kindergarten.
In time I came to understand Interspace as the primary
field in a figure-ground relationship, the loom upon
which the tapestry of earthly life is woven.

Imagine
bacteria consciously contributing their genetic
strands as they congregate and transform into the
organelles of primordial cells. Cells may be conscious
as they cooperate in the tissues of a body.
Each rung on the ladder of intelligent evolution

of intelligence, each representing a more highly
evolved collective of the quantum particles of intelligence.
Maybe the human is not the only conscious and intelligent
being? Maybe every cell in the body is conscious
and intelligent, only at a different level. Consciousness
and intelligence have been shown to exist in all
living organisms. There is evidence that plants
and animals respond to humans. People who live with
animals are often well aware of animal emotions
and their response to human emotions. As detailed

great physicist Bose experimented with plant perception
and technology exists to amplify micro-electrical
signals in plants that will register plant response
to human thoughts emotions...

to do with the blackout you talked about over the
radio?” Ingrid looked over her glass coyly.

| What
is Consciousness? |

chapter on Developing your Consciousness.
I
now introduce you to another concept that is part
of the new post-modern paradigm, namely ‘consciousness’.
Although most research refers to ’awareness’,
in the language of post-modern spirituality, ’consciousness’
is a far better word to use, as it is more flexible,
inclusive and open to further expansion. For this
reason, during the later processes and exercises,
I will be using ’consciousness’ in place
of ’awareness’ wherever possible.
So what exactly does it mean? The word ’consciousness’
was traditionally used to explain one’s awareness
of things outside of ourselves. For example, we
become conscious of something if we are able to
see, hear, smell, taste or touch it. However, it
is far more than this. For instance, we know that
during meditation, one can be fully conscious and
still not be thinking or focussing on anything in
particular.
