Reviews This book was an eye-opener. We all have habits which we struggle to overcome. We are usually far more aware of other people's bad habits than our own! In this easy to read and informative book, Ann helps us to understand the emotional issues underlying our habits and then to release them. This allows us to break out of repeating cycles which keep us trapped in our own pain and become free to be our real selves. The book is practical with humorous insights which will fascinate you and keep you reading. Reviewed by Renaissance magazine April/May issue 2004:

Lydia Carstens - Reflexologist Healing Habits is entertaining, accessible and insightful, - a helpful tool for facilitating self-exploration and healing Jenni Normand - Clinical Psychologist Ann Gadd has delivered an insightful work of art that reveals her in depth knowledge of people's psyches. Her inner wisdom, reflected in Healing Habits, is profound reading for the soul. I savored every aspect of Ann's refreshing, new angle on the mind-body connection and enjoyed having my belief systems challenged. I am eternally grateful for this spiritual guidance - it has enabled me to see my actions, and those of others, for what they are - and laid some of my demons to rest. Glynnis Menne - teacher I must say, THIS book must be read - if you do not read anything else this year - read this. Superb - language is very straight forward with no frills and funny grammar (which may look good to some but is really a pain in the rear) and it was very easy to see how Ann wrote this book - I could hear her talking when reading it. Loved it Jane Amory - Medical secretary Ann Gadd's insight into the mind-body
connection is intriguing. HEALING HABITS provides a key to Nicola Menne, BA (Hons) freelance
editor When I read the introduction to this book, I could not believe the timing. It felt like you could have been writing about me. I was at probably the lowest point in my life and, as far as I was concerned, other people were always to blame for my unhappiness and the bad things happening to me. Thank you Ann for inspiring me to take charge of myself again - I have a long way to go but your book has given me the courage to begin to heal my life. Linda Augustyn - homemaker |
