What an experience. It so reminded
them of Frankfurt, but this time they were proud to show their
titles to local readers.
To be an independant book publisher
in these times is not always easy. Both Robin and Nadine love their
work and if it were not for the eager new talent that comes their
way, they would never have made it this far. Publishers need good
writers.

To survive as a book publishing
company, Kima Global needs to have new titles on the front list every
three months. That is not an easy task. Not that there are not enough
new manuscripts, Kima Global gets around 10 new applications in per
month from around the world. No matter what submission guidelines
they have published on the website, new writers still submit inappropiate
manuscripts.
When Robin and Nadine make a decision to publish a new title, it has
to comply with quite a few criteria.

the Labia in Cape Town in August 2007
They
held Graham Saayman's book launch at the Labia - Cape Town's very
own film theatre that promotes Body,mind & Spirit and topical
films
Both
Robin and Nadine had been living and working while major renovations
took place in their new home in Clovelly. The opening of the Wisdom
Cave was a momentous period. Kima Global would now have it's own
retail outlet. Together with their Library it will grow into a get
together venue where their authors can hold informal talks for the
South Peninsula community,
